About Girnar Darshan
Girnar Darshan Yatra is a holy Yatra and an important pilgrimage for both Hindus and Jains. Girnar is a mountain range in Gujarat, India, known for its religious and natural significance. It has around 10,000 steps leading to the top, where you can visit important temples like Dattatreya Temple and Jain temples. The best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is cooler. Junagadh offers various accommodation options. The climb to the top is challenging, so bring plenty of water and snacks. Besides the climb, Junagadh has other attractions like Uparkot Fort and the Mahabat Maqbara. The area around Girnar is lush and picturesque, ideal for nature lovers.
Somnath Temple
Somnath is a historic town located on the western coast of Gujarat, India, renowned for its famous Somnath Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is significant for its beautiful architecture and has been rebuilt several times after invasions. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like the Somnath Museum and the Prabhas Patan ruins, or enjoy the scenic Somnath Beach. The best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is pleasant.

Short Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Mumbai.
Day 2: Arrive in Somnath, explore the sights, and then travel to Junagadh.
Day 3: Trek Girnar and return.
Day 4: Travel from Junagadh back to Mumbai.
Day 5: Arrive in Mumbai.
Itinerary
Day 1:
- Train Journey: Board train 19217 SAURASHTRA JANTA.
- Departure Times: 1:40 PM from Bandra Terminus, and 2:02 PM from Borivali Station.
Day 2:
- 07:00 AM: Arrive at Veraval Station.
- Accommodation: Check into basic sharing rooms to freshen up.
- Morning; Afternoon: Explore Somnath Temple and nearby sights, including other important temples in the area.
- Evening: Travel to Junagadh-Talethi for overnight stay.
- Meals: Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 3:
- 03:00 AM: Begin the trek up Girnar, which consists of approximately 10,000 steps.
- 10:00 AM: Reach the top of Girnar and visit the prominent temple at the summit.
- 1:00 PM: Start descending and head back to Talethi.
- Accommodation: Overnight stay in Talethi.
- Meals: Dinner included.
Day 4:
- Morning: Check out after breakfast.
- 12:00 PM: Arrive at Junagadh station to board train 19218 SAURASHTRA JANTA for the return journey to Mumbai.
- Meal: Breakfast included.
Day 5:
- Early Morning: Arrive back in Mumbai at 5:45 AM, concluding the trip with unforgettable memories.

Important Notes
- We plan to visit several temples around Somnath and Girnar, but the number of visits will depend on the time available.
Regarding Ropeway and Doli/Palki:
- Ropeway: The ropeway is available only up to halfway (5000 steps) and can be booked online. The approximate cost is ₹700.
- Ropeway Hours: Operates from 7 AM to 5 PM.
- Weather Dependency: The availability of the ropeway is subject to weather conditions.
- Doli/Palki: The cost for a doli or palki is approximately ₹4,000 to ₹5,000.
