Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : SRINAGAR TO KARGIL (210 KMS,7 HRS)
- Pickup Airport & start for Kargil which is about 205 kilometers from Srinagar. En-route, stop at the valley of meadows Sonmarg for lunch and then cross the Zojila pass which is located 3900 meters above the sea level.
- After driving for some time, reach the Drass Village which is said to be the 2nd coldest place on earth. Here you visit War memorial hall and Museum- also known as Vijaypath.
- The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who laid their lives in Kargil War.
- By the evening, you will reach Kargil town; upon reaching there, check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 : KARGIL TO LEH (216 KMS,6 HRS)
- After breakfast, start driving towards Leh. On the way stop for a quick visit to the Lamayuru monastery.
- Lamayuru is known for its unique landscape that resembles the moon. Take clicks of the beauty to cherish it as wonderful memories. Continue with your journey.
- Stop at the Sangam. Sangam is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic hill to marvel at the amazing natural wonder. Also pay respects to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru. Continue your road journey.
- On arrival in Leh, visit the Hall of Fame Museum. Complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 : LEH SIGHTSEEING DAY
- After breakfast, visit the most important monasteries of Ladakh – Shey Palace and Stok Palace. First, we visit the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings.
- The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha. Later in the evening visit the famous Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh local Market.
- Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 4 : LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY (162 KMS,6HRS)
- After a leisurely morning breakfast drive to Nubra valley (The valley of flowers) via Khardung la, (18300 feet) considered as one of the highest motor able road in the World. The view from top of the passes is amazing.
- One can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After explores we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see double hump Camels and visitors can take a camel safari (Own cost) here.
- Dinner and overnight in Nubra valley.
Day 5 : NUBRA TO PANGONG (200 KMS, 7 HRS)
- After breakfast at the hotel we drive to the next destination, Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong).
- Just a few Kms drive from Hunder, visit Disket Monastery and later continue your drive towards Pangong, the road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village, the entire setting being very picturesque.
- Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake and observe the majestic Lake.
- Overnight stay in Cottages/camps.
Day 6 : PANGONG TO LEH (210 KMS,7 HRS)
- During the early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake.
- Post breakfast drive to Leh via Changla pass you will reach leh by noon.
- On the way visit Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Gompa and Rencho School.
- Relax and Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : LEH DEPARTURE
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour

Special Note
- In case of ill health or any other reason, if any participant has to turn back to Leh, the cost of heading back to Leh (Travel + Porter) along with the Cost of stay in Leh has to be borne by the Participant himself/herself.
