The mountain range found in this region is popularly known as Nilgiri Mountain region. Ooty is exactly located in the tri-junction of three states Karnataka, Tamilnadu, and Kerala.
Ooty became so famous because of its excellent scenic beauty and climatic conditions. Towering mountains, sprawling tea gardens, splendorous Flower Gardens, nature’s gift of greenery everywhere, a beautiful climate with raining clouds all the time, amazingly awestruck lakes is the way one can describe the beauty of Ooty.
About Mysore
The word Mysuru is a corrupted version of “mysooru“, which is derived from the word “mahishur” or “Mahishasurana Ooru“, which means the town of Mahishasura in Kannada, the local language.
Mysuru has played an important role in the history of South India from ancient times. Hence there are a number of monuments in the city that represent this rich cultural heritage. Mysuru is known for its splendid palaces and magnificent temples. These monuments are spread in and around modern Mysuru.
Short Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Bangalore to Coorg. Night stay Coorg.
Day 02: Coorg Night stay Coorg.
Day 03: Coorg to Ooty. Night stay Ooty.
Day 04: Ooty Night stay Ooty.
Day 05: Ooty to Mysore. Night stay Mysore.
Day 06: Mysore to Bangalore. End of tour.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1 : Bangalore – Coorg
- Morning pick up from Bangalore Airport and proceed towards Coorg. Enroute, visit the Tibetan Monastery. On arrival, check-in to the Hotel. Overnight in Coorg.
Day 2 : Coorg Sightseeing
- After Breakfast Start for Local Coorg Sightseeing Visit Omkareshwar temple, Dubare Elephant Camp, Raja’s Tomb, Abbey Falls and Raja’s Seat. Overnight in Coorg.
Day 3 : Coorg – Ooty
- After Breakfast, checkout and transfer to Ooty. In the evening visit Ooty Lake. Overnight in Ooty.
Day 4 : Ooty Sightseeing
- After breakfast proceed for sightseeing – Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden, Dodabetta Peak & Tea Factory. Overnight in Ooty.
Day 5 : Ooty – Mysore
- After Breakfast, checkout from the Hotel and proceed towards Mysore. Visit Mysore Zoological Park and Brindavan gardens in the evening. Overnight in Mysore.
Day 6 : Mysore – Bangalore
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Mysore Palace. Later proceed to Bangalore and evening drop at Bangalore Airport/Railway station. End of tour services.
